Protransitus LP Salvat is a probiotic food supplement for the maintenance of bowel function.

Protransitus LP Lactobacillus plantarum 299v resists very well gastric acid and bile salts, which are kept alive in the intestine and is readily incorporated into its microflora to exert the desired results, no contraindications to its use and scientific studies show reducing by 80% abdominal pain, 60% normalizes intestinal transit, reduces flatulence and 95% improvement in overall symptoms of irritable bowel or irritable bowel syndrome.

Irritable bowel syndrome is accompanied by an altered balance of the gastrointestinal microflora. Patients with irritable bowel syndrome have a decreased bacterial flora with lactobacilli compared to healthy individuals. Not all have scientifically proven lactobacillus in irritable bowel syndrome.
