Oil Mepentol sprayer (100 ml)

Prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers grade 1.

COMPOSITION: hyper-oxygenated fatty acids, Equisetum arvense, Hypericum perforatum, Perfume.

 INDICATIONS AND PROPERTIES: Mepentol is indicated for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers stage I and II.
The fatty acids comprising Hyperoxygenated formulation obtained by a particular process hyperoxygenation: favor renewal of epidermal cells improving skin resistance and facilitating healing; restores the film hydrolipidic avoiding skin dehydration; create an antimicrobial barrier that protects the ulcerated area of ​​external agents and improve blood microcirculation; prevent damage caused by an increase of free radicals thanks to its antioxidant activity.

 Mepentol also contains Equisetum arvense, familiarly known as Horsetail, which improves elasticity and skin tone, while Hypericum perforatum (or St. John's Wort) is preventive and normalizing erythema and has a soothing and skin protection activity.

 FORM AND PRESENTATIONS: Mepentol is available in three presentations in a convenient spray bottle opaque PET.

 A bottle of 20 ml Mepentol allows 150 applications and, on average, covers the treatment of a patient for a period of 20 days to a month.

 HOW TO USE:
Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers Stage I: After making cures normal cleaning, apply Mepentol 2 or 3 times a day on the areas of risk or affected by the ulcer, extending the product with fingertips . For this operation we recommend the use of gloves. Mepentol accompany the use of postural changes and other prevention practices can prevent the formation of skin ulcers.
 Pressure Ulcer Treatment of Stage II: After making normal cleaning cures, apply directly on the ulcer Mepentol or spray on a sterile gauze, which is then applied over the ulcer. Covering the ulcer with the help of an appropriate dressing. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times daily until complete healing. For this operation we recommend the use of gloves.
Mepentol is a product of easy application, which lightens the work of health professionals and family members and / or caregivers of patients at home.

 PRECAUTIONS: Medical personnel applying Mepentol or caregiver should adopt minimum standards and precautions of a sanitary structure (eg wearing gloves) .7
