Hylo-Gel (sodium hyaluronate). Brill Pharma.

Hylo-Gel is indicated for therapeutic eyedrops and intensive lubrication of the ocular surface in serious and persistent dry eye conditions, as well as in ophthalmic postoperative treatments.

Applying Hylo-Gel provides long lasting hydration of the cornea and conjunctiva, helping the physiological process of healing of wounds.

Hylo-Gel containing the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the eye and other body parts. Its special feature is that it forms a lubricating and moisturizing, stable and long-lasting on the eye surface film. Also, no need to rinse quickly. With this bioadhesive property, the cornea and conjunctiva are protected and with physiological tears the lid slides perfectly on the eye surface.

Hylo-Gel contains a larger amount of sodium hyaluronate, which makes it more viscous and thus the eye is provided with a film intensive moisturizing, soothing and long lasting. Persistent or severe symptoms are relieved and eye irritation is protected.
Physiological tear production may decrease due to ophthalmic surgical procedures or ocular lesions, however, for the regeneration of these tissues adequate and continuous hydration of the eye surface is necessary.
