Hylo-Dual relieves allergy symptoms such as itching and burning, hydrates the cornea and conjunctiva and protects against excessive evaporation of tears. This stabilization of the tear film relieves symptoms of inflammation of irritated eyes.

Burning, itching, tearing, foreign body sensation or dry eye symptoms are hypersensitivity to certain substances (eg pollen, animal hair or house dust) also called allergy. Often this is a sign that the eye does not have enough moisture. As an allergy cause similar symptoms it is difficult to differentiate between dry eye or eye allergy.

In these cases, Hylo-Dual is suitable for its dual mechanism of action of Ectoin and sodium hyaluronate.
* Hylo-Dual contains Ectoin, a natural substance derived from microorganisms living in extreme environments (p. Ex. Salt lakes). To protect against such extreme environmental conditions, these microorganisms synthesize Ectoin. Its specific properties are used in Hylo-Dual. Ectoine water enhances binding to cells of the ocular surface. This forms a barrier in the conjunctiva physiological substances acting against allergenic. At the same time, Ectoin stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film that protects against excessive evaporation of tears.
*Hylo-Dual also contains sodium hyaluronate, a physiological substance found in the eye and other body parts. The sodium hyaluronate has the special property to create a moisturizing, stable and long-lasting in the eye surface film without having to rinse quickly.

COMPOSITION.
Dual-Hylo is a preservative free sterile solution containing 20 mg / ml of ectoine and 0.5 mg / ml sodium hyaluronate.

HOW TO USE.
Hylo-Driver should be used according to the instructions given by your ophthalmologist.
In general, adults and children 6 years and a drop of Hylo-Dual apply three times a day into the conjunctival sac.
